Players should have at least two Boosts at the ready, and avoid the flag altogether if they have none at all. It is a good idea to have full health, shields, and possibly the Windguard’s Salvation Surge active. Windguards can easily prevent pursuits with Smoke Trail, while a Shadow can exit out of Mystic Shroud as they approach, and Marauders can limit their damage with a final Gust.ĭue to having far fewer combat options, the flag carrier will want as many defensive and movement advantages as possible. The chance to trigger a power will cease as soon as the flag is grabbed, but that does leave a few seconds to get abilities off beforehand. Passives will still function, tough in the case of the Marauder this will be pointless unless they happen to survive while dropping the flag. This includes the chosen ability, power, and rage bonus. Players holding the flag will have most of their powers temporally locked in Century: Age of Ashes.
